But they are generally a reactive resource, waiting for you to ask for information, or they provide general information that’s hard to apply to your specific business. We work with you to proactively understand how your people needs affect your business, and we design and implement ongoing processes that make your business run smoothly.

Every client is assigned a service team when they work with Your Other Half. This service team will include a client lead, who will lead the day-to-day service of your needs, as well as two to four other team members, depending on the services you engage with us. This allows us to ensure that you always have someone available to support you. Our team is 100% remote, and we provide our services primarily remotely. However, our clients can request that our founder or their assigned client lead come on-site for additional fees; we generally recommend this no more than once per quarter.

Once you become a client, you will be assigned a client email that reaches your entire service team. This will be your primary method of communication with us, and the way to get the fastest response from your team. We are available to our clients 9:00 AM–5:30 PM ET Monday through Friday via email, phone, video and text, and some of our clients also add us to their Slack channels to communicate with us that way as well. We guarantee a response to every request within 48 business hours, but our average response time is 6 business hours.

Our goal is to support small business owners by ensuring they pay only for what they need with our services. We offer two models: an hourly model and a monthly retainer model, so you can pick the model that works best for you. Clients can switch between models as needed, but we provide direct employee support only in our monthly retainer model. Each of our offerings are customized for our clients. Our team works remotely from across the U.S. However, clients have the option to bring our founder and/or their assigned client lead on-site up to once per quarter. This option is generally most useful for planned, HR-related activities, like an annual team retreat, performance review cycle, or benefits open enrollment. Clients who opt for on-site time with their client lead are billed for half-day or full-day on-site service rates, travel, accommodations and per diem.
